Come to the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh on Saturday, April 15, for our ‘412’ Performance as part of the SYMcity Concert Series under the direction of Pierce Cook! Symphonette will perform music from some of the ‘Burgh’s own musicians, Henry Mancini and TRYPO Alum and Pittsburgh Opera Orchestra Principal Cellist Kathy Melucci, featured in the premiere of “A Three Rivers Rhapsody” by Kyle Simpson. On February 17-19, 2023, members of TRYPO’s Wind Symphony and Symphonette ensembles traveled to Washington, D.C., to play a concert with the ISO @ Third Street Symphonic Band and Musicians from the United States Air Force Band.
