    Percussion Ensemble, enrolling now!

    The 2019-20 TRYPO Percussion Ensemble directed by Paul Evans is starting up shortly and is accepting new members! Percussion Ensemble meets at Duquesne University Saturdays from 11:45am-12:45pm. Here are some of the upcoming rehearsal dates: September 21 September 28 October 5 October 12 October 26 November 2 First concert: Tuesday, November 5 at Duquesne University with the Duquesne University Percussion Ensemble. (Additional rehearsals and concerts to be announced.) Tuition: $300/year ($200 for current YPO or WS members).     No current weather cancellations!

    Students, families, and concert-goers can always check here for changes in schedule due to weather conditions. About Cancellations: TRYPO might cancel rehearsals, concerts, or events, due to inclement weather or other natural disasters. In the event of a weather emergency or other situation where a rehearsal might be cancelled, weather cancellations will be: e-mailed to the TRYPO weekly notification lists, texted to the ensemble through Remind.com posted on TRYPO’s Facebook page and Twitter accounts, posted on TRYPO’s website, posted through WPXI Channel 11 and KDKA Storm Trackers.   • Three Rivers Young Peoples Orchestras Names Brian Worsdale as Music Director Pittsburgh, PA – The Board of Directors of Three Rivers Young Peoples Orchestras (TRYPO) has announced the selection of Brian Worsdale as the organization’s next music director, effective September 2018. The Brooklyn born and raised conductor, educator, and instrumentalist served over twenty years with the InterSchool Orchestras of New York where he held various conducting positions and founded the ISO Symphonic Band.
