We hope their stories inspire young musicians to find what music holds meaning in their lives! 🎶🍉🎶 Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra Principal Contrabassoonist and TRYPO Coach, Jim Rodgers is up next to share what the piece “Le Sacre du printemps” (The Rite of Spring) by Igor Stravinsky means to him.

Jim Nova, Pittsburgh Symphony Trombonist and TRYPO Coach, explains the meaning behind one of his favorite pieces “In Memoriam: A Chorale After Bruckner” by Brian Pappal, written in memory of his teacher and friend Murray Crewe, beloved Pittsburgh Symphony Principal Bass Trombone.
