This season's programming celebrates the music of North and South America and the composers who influenced it. From Astor Piazzolla and Michael Markowski to Béla Bartók, Felix Mendelssohn, and George Gershwin, we're exploring the unique sounds brought to us by these musical minds! The first concert of the day features Wind Symphony, led by Robert Traugh, and special guests Dr. Jason Kush performing saxophone on Piazzolla's Oblivion and Chad Thompson, guest conducting a piece by Yukiko Nishimura.
