TRYPO is excited to welcome the newest administrative staff additions to the #TRYPOfam! Alyssa Hensley recently assumed the role of Manager of Youth Chamber Connection and Special Projects. And Emily Bovan now serves as TRYPO’s Marketing Assistant in addition to her current position as the UniSound Program Coordinator, which she began in March of this year. Both staff members are off to an awesome start!
Harpist Alyssa Hensley is hitting the ground running as the manager for Youth Chamber Connection. Having performed as a chamber and orchestral musician, she is excited to take on new projects and grow the chamber performance opportunities for students in the Pittsburgh area. Alyssa holds a Bachelor of Music in Harp Performance from Northwestern University and a Master of Music from Carnegie Mellon University. Coming from a very musical family, Alyssa was thrown into playing chamber music with her brothers and sister at age seven. Alyssa is an advocate for new music and serves on the board of directors for the Pittsburgh Chapter of the American Harp Society.
Emily Bovan grew up in the Pittsburgh area and is a lifelong musician passionate about the arts. She graduated from Point Park University in December of 2020 with a degree in Arts Management. Emily is super excited to grow her position as the UniSound Program Coordinator and take on the TRYPO Marketing Assistant position. During her time in school, Emily participated in her high school band and choirs. She has played piano for thirteen years and flute for eight. Her previous work experience includes Digital Marketing Intern with Pittsburgh Youth Chorus and Special Events Marketing Intern with the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.
