Auditions can be a nerve-wracking experience for anyone, regardless of age or experience. Recently, I had to re-audition for the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh since we just welcomed a new Music Director, Daniel Singer, to the organization, and the process made me reflect on the similar journey of our youth orchestra students as they undergo their seating auditions. Wind Symphony will be performing on March 25, 2024, at 7:00 PM at North Hills Middle School. The concert will include performances by North Hills 7th grade, 8th grade, and beginning bands, Wind Symphony, and a side-by-side with both North Hills and Wind Symphony musicians.
